Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2025/26 pickleball season the best one yet at ODAS Park.
We started with 54 players back in 2019/20. The spring session in 2023 saw 100 players sign up. Today the club has 322 members, and this past spring saw 200 of them register to play — a remarkable growth!
A special thank you to Glen and Joanne Morehouse for their contributions over the years. Linda has been instrumental in making Thursday the busiest day of the week with 8 hours of available court time — she will provide an update on her silent auction in due course.
Doris and Craig continue to ensure that doors open on time in the mornings, and a special shout out to Diane House and Mark Bergsma for keeping the nets and dividers in working order.
This new website was designed by Nishanth Merwin — Nish is now the club's IT support person.

February 2025 marks six years of pickleball at ODAS Park. The club is now affiliated with Pickleball Ontario: when you join or renew through Pickleball Canada, you can select our club by name and pay club fees directly to us. All regular and drop-in players must be current members of both PBC and ODAS Park PB Club. E-transfers: odasparkpb@gmail.com (fees due within five days of registration). Please stay home if you’re unwell—we have vulnerable players in our community.
Join or renew via Pickleball Canada: use the menu → “Find a Club” → filter by “ODAS,” then select our club and complete Join/Renew. Registration is $5 (plus a small processing fee). Set your home club to ODAS Park PB Club. You must be a member before regular session registration opens to be eligible to play; unregistered drop-ins will be removed from TeamReach.
Split courts: We split by level (e.g. 3.0 vs 3.5) so games stay balanced and fun. Please self-assess honestly—if you’re consistently losing big on the 3.5 side, join the 3.0 group; if 3.0 is too easy, move up. PBC: All memberships expire Dec 31; renew promptly at pickleballcanada.org. E-transfers: odasparkpb@gmail.com. Open sessions: “Open” means 2.0 and up with split courts—not drop-in. Registration is limited to 35; don’t hold a spot if you’ll be away. See the Rules page for the self-rate chart.
