We’re at the Roller Skating
Place at ODAS Park on
Fairgrounds Road, just off of
Hwy 12, west of Orillia.
Welcome
to our Orillia district
pickleball group.
We specialize in good
games, music, and lots of
laughs.
We are a dedicated group
of enthusiasts who live in
and around Orillia, Ontario. Our seven courts are
located in the roller skating rink at ODAS Park in
Severn Township.
Our players are mostly from Orillia, but we also host
players from Washago, Gravenhurst, Ramara and
Barrie. Playing at ODAS features a good level of
competition, laughter, friendship, and being good
sports about everything. Winning is only part of
having a good game.
Pickleball is a very enjoyable way to maintain an
active lifestyle. The sport brings people together. The
small court creates a cosy atmosphere where players
can socialize and interact, while enjoying the friendly
competition.
The camaraderie within pickleball is every bit as
valued as the exercise. We laugh a lot!

What is pickleball?
Naturally, we are asked this question often, though less often than in past years. The sport is a combination of
badminton and tennis, played on a badminton-size court with slight differences. As the court is smaller, pickleball
tends to be easier on the joints than tennis and requires less running.
